Perfectly placed in a unique location surrounded by beautiful countryside, this exquisite property is ideal for families and friends seeking a restful base from which to explore North Wales. The small village of Rhiw is at the south westerly end of the Llyn Peninsula, and you can join the Llyn Coastal Path from the doorstep and visit the National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw, 500 metres away. There are plenty of golden sandy beaches available for water sports, sailing, and fishing – Porth Neigwl is 0.5 miles on foot or by car, it’s 0.7 miles, and the popular seaside villages of Aberdaron and Abersoch are less than 7 miles away. Alternatively, if golf is your passion, visit the renowned links course at Nefyn Golf Club at Porthdinllaen, 11.5 miles away, or enjoy the walking and magnificent coastal views of Mynydd Mawr, 6.5 miles away.

This welcoming 18th-century two-storey house is brimming with charming features, including a traditional Welsh cottage crog loft! As you enter the property, admire the stone walls and exposed beams seamlessly blending with contemporary comforts and with underfloor heating – this is an ideal choice all year round. Throughout the property, you will find elegant, fine decor and furnishings, with artwork that reflects the proximity to the coastline. The inviting kitchen/dining area features a striking double-height ceiling and an electric woodburner style stove, to create a cosy, relaxing ambience. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze, so you can spend more time enjoying feasts at the dining table. This kitchen/dining space is a lovely social space where you can linger over meals, relive a day filled with adventures and plan for tomorrow. Take four steps up and retreat to the lounge, where you are spoiled with comfortable reclining sofas. There are doors leading out to the garden, which flood the space with natural light. In the evening, there is a Sky Glass TV for entertainment. A quieter space is the garden room, perfect for taking in views overlooking the bay. There is also a stylish shower room on this level. Drift off to sleep in one of two bedrooms – either the characterful double with feature walls, Smart TV and ensuite shower room on this level or go up the stairs from the kitchen/dining area to the crog loft, which is a twin bedroom with two double beds. Mind your head as you go through the door.

Head outside and you can really appreciate this magnificent location, surrounded by National Trust farmland, far-reaching countryside, and sea views. The large garden offers breathtaking views wherever you decide to settle, with several seating areas to unwind with a drink. On the patio, fire up the BBQ for al fresco dining in the evening and enjoy the shade under the trees, or relax with sundowners on the grass. Private parking is available for two cars.

Cleverly converted cottage, which hasn't lost any character. An amazing property in an amazing location for a quiet retreat. Warm, light and airy with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and watch the world and the weather go by.

What a wonderful cottage in a great location. Lots of little extras that made the stay even better. Loved to see the pheasants in the garden and feed them. Fantastic views over the bay. Had a power cut whilst there but plenty of equipment to ensure I wasnt left in the dark. Would highly recommend
