Sat on the banks of the River Severn, Bewdley has plenty of history to explore and is the gateway to the Wyre Forest, where you’ll find fabulous walks and a Go Ape course (2.5 miles). From listed buildings, shops and eateries to the popular Bewdley Museum, there is lots to explore as you wander around the town – including Jubilee Gardens. The Severn Valley Steam Railway calls at Bewdley (the station is within 1 mile of the property), which you can ride to get to Kidderminster or Bridgnorth for fun days out. West Midlands Safari Park (2 miles) offers safari drives and animal encounters, while Ludlow's Food Hall (20 miles) provides a fantastic day out for foodies. Two sets of steps lead up to the front door of this characterful property.

Step inside and into a hallway that leads to the spacious lounge. In here there is a range of seating, eye-catching artwork and furnishings, a wall-mounted Smart TV, with a wood burner at the heart of the space. Head through to the stylish kitchen/diner, with chic fixtures and fittings including cupboard uplighting. Get everyone together to eat around the large dining table while you soak up the garden views through the wide glass doors. Upstairs, you’ll find three beautifully styled bedrooms: two double rooms, and a single. Completing the layout, you’ll find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Step outside and you’ll find a large, enclosed patio and garden with smart outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. Emma was very helpful and ensured we knew how to find and access the house, including enabling us to arrive early due to train times during the SVR Gala weekend. Lovely property. Great attention to detail as regards furnishings and accessories. Everything that we required was provided. Parking for one car. Bewdley within walking distance but there is a very steep hill to negotiate. Not a problem as we always took the car. Bewdley central for so many locations. Welcome goodies much appreciated. Really close to the town centre, so dog walks along the River Severn totally convenient, without having to use the car. We loved the enclosed garden - great for our pooches; safe and practical. Exceptionally clean and super comfy beds. The goodies on arrival were very welcome and appreciated.

The weekend was exactly as we hoped. Close to the Town, so we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit; the Severn Valley Railway, the Museum and Town and we also had a meal at the Mug House (highly recommend). The street we were in was very quiet and all the residents we met were friendly. The hosts were very thoughtful and approachable.Read more Hide
