Offering relaxing accommodation for up to five guests, this cosy and cheerful holiday cottage makes a characterful holiday home for eager walkers, nature spotters and history buffs discovering a breathtaking part of the Norfolk countryside. The property is just a short walk from the centre of Holt, a thriving and historic town with a wealth of independent shops, boutiques, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The tranquil Holt Country Park is just a mile away, providing peaceful woodland walks in gorgeous surroundings. For a day by the sea, you can take a steam train trip via the North Norfolk Railway to the picturesque seaside town of Sheringham (7 miles), with the popular resort of Cromer a little further east (10 miles). The area has a range of popular attractions including Pensthorpe, Baconsthorpe Castle and Hindringham Hall Gardens, all within 12 miles.

Entering this welcoming holiday retreat, the entrance hallway leads you down into the cosy and cheerful lounge/diner. With a Smart TV and comfortable seating, the lounge also has a feature fireplace and an imposing original timber beam. To one side, the sociable dining table is a perfect for getting together for a fantastic family meal. Heading through, the light and airy kitchen has an additional dining table as well as a wealth of useful equipment to help you prepare your favourite dishes. The ground floor also has a WC and a handy utility room with a washing machine. Heading upstairs, you will find a relaxing bathroom and a choice of three bright and airy bedrooms: a cheery twin, a stylish king-size room and a snug single with a raised bunk-style bed ideal for a young child.

The enclosed rear courtyard can be reached via an alleyway or from the kitchen. Featuring plenty of garden furniture, this is a delightful spot for a morning coffee or for sitting back in the evening and dining alfresco. On-street parking outside the cottage is limited to 1 hr Monday to Saturday, and unrestricted on Sunday. A reserved parking bay is available at the allotment parking off Mill Street, a 4 minute walk from the cottage.

Great location in the heart of Holt. Everything within walking distance. The house is well equipped with quality items and furniture. Loads of character and very comfortable. The dedicated parking space is just around the corner and for short stops there is 1 hour free parking on the street at the front.

We absolutely loved Fig Tree Cottage. Brilliant location, & a designated parking space just a few minutes walk away. We loved the decor, everything we needed was available. Weather was great, so we enjoyed sitting in the garden as well. Would love to return. Good space for a family.
