We had a lovely holiday at this flat. It is in a good area with plenty to see and do, all a short drive away and more further afield too. There are some walks from the door you can do but we stayed during the heatwave so it was a bit too hot for us to do these. We visited the play park which is a short walk up the road and our daughter enjoyed it. Read moreThere are lots of national Trust properties in the area. Camber sands is a beautiful beach and we spent a day there, we also visited Howletts zoo which was a fun day out. We ate at the milk shed which can highly recommend. We stayed during the heat wave which wasnt a problem as we could open all the windows in the flat and it stayed nice and cool. The owners are lovely and very welcoming but not intrusive. We had a great holiday here and can definitely recommend. Hide

We received a lovely welcome from our friendly hosts, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel at homeespecially our two young daughters. They were delighted to help collect eggs from the chickens in the beautiful garden, which was a real highlight of the stay. We especially loved the countryside views overlooking the oast house at the rearRead more of the property. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, with the hosts artwork adding a unique and personal touch. The location is ideal for exploring many of the UKs finest gardens, castles, and charming villages. During our stay, we visited Bedgebury Pinetum, Scotney Castle, Camber Sands, Dungeness, and Great Dixter Gardens, though after five days we felt we had only just begun to explore the area. The hosts also provided a helpful guide with many more recommendations. Conveniently, Waitrose, Tesco, and a petrol station are all nearby. Overall, a wonderful stay that we would highly recommend.
