Located in Middleton, a delightful village in West Norfolk, it’s in a peaceful rural setting while remaining conveniently close to some of the county’s most popular attractions. Surrounded by open countryside, Middleton is ideal for scenic walks and cycling. The historic market town of King's Lynn is just a short drive away, offering shops, restaurants and heritage sites. Explore Sandringham (9 miles), the royal estate with its expansive gardens and parkland, or visit Bawsey Country Park (4.5 miles), where 180 acres of woodland and lakes await exploration. Coastal days out are also easily enjoyed, with the seaside town of Hunstanton just 18 miles away.

Inside, this holiday retreat has character and contemporary style. Warm wood panelling and a soft palette of creams and whites create a calm, light-filled space, complemented by comfortable, inviting furniture designed for truly unwinding. The open-plan living area features a spacious lounge, a cosy snug corner perfect for reading, and a dining table ideal for long, relaxed meals. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons you could need, whether you’re preparing a lazy breakfast, a picnic for the day ahead, or supper using local produce. You’ll find two thoughtfully designed bedrooms: a serene master bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed and a welcoming twin bedroom. The property also features a spacious bathroom.

Excellent accommodation, everything you could possibly need. Good location, good pub in the village and hosts were very helpful

We had a lovely five nights stay. The poultry barn has been converted into a very high standard of holiday home on a very well maintained caravan club site (only five pitches). Great kitchen facilities, big open plan dining/living room area, huge bathroom and comfy beds. The decking area at the back had great views across the fields. There was alsoRead more a big lawned area, shared with the caravans, to let our dog roam on a long lead as it was the site policy to have all dogs on leads. Norman and Debbie were very welcoming and full of local information. Nice pub in the village, The Gate Inn. Delicious fish and chips from the van that comes to the village on a Thursday. We also visited Shouldham Warren woods and ate lunch twice in the dog friendly beer garden at The Kings Arms in Shouldham. We would definitely recommend this property and area to friends. Hide

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay . Norman and Debbie our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel really at home. Thank you both.

Poultry Place is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful and provided some basic essentials for our stay (milk, bread, tea and coffee, and some sweet snacks). The grounds are secure, well kept and large enough to exercise a dog or two.

Nothing is to much trouble for the hosts who are a smashing couple the place will embrace you and you will hate leaving would recommend with hand on heart

We really enjoyed our stay at Poultry Place. The location was very peaceful but also in walking distance of the local shop. Inside, everything has been thought of and is all to a high standard, including the kitchen equipment and facilities. We loved the open and spacious feel, the comfortable bed and a really good shower. Fabulous property beautifully equipped over and above our expectations. Would absolutely recommend and return. Perfect for dog owners with spacious grounds in safe secure location, peaceful with stunning views. Honestly I cannot fault this property, the setting and the owners. We have had the best time.
