This spacious cottage enjoys a quiet holiday park setting in Dailly, south-west Scotland. The property has a sociable, open-plan layout and sleeps six guests across three bedrooms, making it ideal for both large families and groups of friends. Dailly is a picturesque village with numerous historic buildings and is overlooked by the medieval ruins of Dalquharran Castle. The surrounding landscape is a paradise for walkers, with routes to explore across rich farmland and through ancient woodlands. There are also some lovely trails following the River Girvan, and further afield you’ll find the network of paths through Galloway Forest Park. The seaside resort of Girvan is 6.5 miles away and has a great range of eateries, along with a beautiful sandy beach. In summer, you can join a boat trip to the remote island of Ailsa Craig. Other nearby attractions include Culzean Castle and the world-famous golf course at Trump Turnberry (both within 10 miles).

The detached, single-storey holiday home is reached via a path from the parking area. Inside, discover a contemporary retreat with a calming colour scheme and ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. From the hallway, move through to the inviting, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you’ll find a sleek kitchen for rustling up feasts for the group and a large, wooden dining table to enjoy mealtimes together. After dinner, get comfortable on the plush corner sofa to read your book or watch TV. The property has three beautifully styled bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, share an al fresco supper on the enclosed, covered veranda as you plan the following day’s activities. Guests are also welcome to use the onsite facilities, which include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, coffee area serving light snacks, children’s play area with outdoor seating, putting, table tennis and pool table. The cottage has private parking for one car, with additional parking available on site in the reception car park which has an EV Charger.

Accommodation was very good and comfortable - as per photos. Easy access and very peaceful place to stay - beautiful surroundings. Lovely welcome note and drinks - nice touch. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at Rosewood Cottage, everywhere was very clean and plenty of amenities. Lovely welcome pack left for us which was a nice touch. Site very quiet but lots to do around the area. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Rosewood cottage during our Easter family break. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The owners Elizabeth and John added nice touches including a welcome card and gifts. We made good use of the facilities including the swimming pool and children's park. The cottage surroundings were loRead morevely too with countryside, hills and woodlands nearby. Would highly recommend staying here at Rosewood cottage! Hide
