A versatile, chic, well-located apartment in beautiful Cornwall, this inviting village bolthole makes a wonderful choice for a real escape. Sitting amid tranquil Cornish countryside, it’s almost midway between the vibrant towns of Liskeard and Lostwithiel – each less than 7 miles – and a similar distance from the National Trust’s magnificent Lanhydrock House, while the world-famous Eden Project is only 15 miles away. For coastal day trips, ancient fishing village Polruan is 12 miles; catch the ferry from here to Fowey, a medieval market town with a maze of narrow lanes and a selection of shops, bars and restaurants to satisfy every appetite. Alternatively, head a similar distance to Lantic Bay, where the water is crystal clear and the sands are seldom packed, or Looe, much-loved for its iconic harbour wall and linked to Liskeard by the scenic Looe Valley railway line.

Private parking for one vehicle ensures easy unpacking. Step through your front door and head up the flight of stairs to this apartment. First, you’ll reach the three bedrooms and a bathroom, located just off the main hallway. For ultimate flexibility, one room has a double bed, one has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed which can be made up as twins on request, and the other has a single bed with an additional trundle bed below. An en-suite shower room to the double bedroom completes the convenience for all. Leave your luggage in your bedroom of choice, then head on into the apartment’s main social space, a stylish L-shaped open-plan room with a feature exposed stone wall at one end. A contemporary kitchen has all the must-haves of home, plus bar-style seating at one of its counters. A chic dining suite is close by; cook, eat and set the dishwasher to work, then take your seat in the lounge area where you can watch TV and discuss your next day’s adventures. To inspire your adventures, dual-aspect windows offer an elevated view over the surrounding countryside.

There’s no garden space here, but the village is surrounded by verdant countryside and, just 3 miles south, Deerpark Forest is a great spot for picnics and walks

We had the most wonderful week in this apartment. We visited as 2 families, both with young children. The hosts provided the cot and high chair for us, which was a huge help in saving space in the car. I contacted the hosts before our arrival and they were so helpful and accommodating. Any queries, they sorted for us very quick. The apartment was Read moreincredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. The kitchen was full of utensils and cooking equipment. The level of detail the hosts put in to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable was out of this world. The apartment is spotless, with new decor and carpets throughout. It had such a homely feel to it. We could not recommend this apartment enough to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Cornwall. Shops and other amenities were all close by, no more than a 10 minute drive. There is only one parking space for the property, however we managed to get our other car parked easily on the street every day so this was no hassle. The extra touches the hosts provide really do make this property stand out from others! We will 100% return to this property on our next visit to Cornwall! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! Hide
