Settle into this seaside hideaway on the Northumberland coast, before exploring mile upon mile of sandy beaches and incredible seascapes. This family-friendly cottage is in the village of Seahouses, a popular destination for coastal escapes. The village has cafes, pubs, shops, golf and a bustling harbour, where Farne Island boat trips offer daily sea safaris and wildlife-spotting adventures offshore. Keep your eyes peeled for nesting seabirds and grey seals throughout your time here, whether you’re out at sea or embracing a brisk walk along the Northumberland Coastal Path. Seahouses Beach offers a wide, sandy expanse, and you can also enjoy nearby Beadnell Bay Beach (2 miles) for ball games, water sports, picnics and other sunny pastimes. Make your way north to Bamburgh (3.5 miles), where you’ll find the mighty Bamburgh Castle, the fascinating RNLI Grace Darling Museum (4 miles), and epic views towards the Farne Islands.

This attractive property has all the hallmarks of a comfortable family home – spacious, well thought out, and inviting in every room. After a long walk, stop off in the hallway to leave coats and boots, and notice the handy WC. Great location, close all local amenities and very close to the beach. The house was immaculate and is kept to a very high standard. We have no complaints and will be coming back, thank you!
