Situated near Westcott, 4.5 miles from Dorking and 12 miles from Guildford, it offers access to a myriad of historic market towns and spectacular beauty spots. Follow trails through scenic woodland, heathland and farmland at the National Trust’s Leith Hill, 5 miles away where you will find Leith Hill Tower – the highest point in Surrey. Explore the attractive countryside at the organisation’s Abinger Roughs and Netley Park, 3.5 miles away, or Denbies Hillside, 6.5 miles away, where there are far-reaching views and nearby Denbies vineyards. Impressive Polesden Lacey, 7.5 miles away, where you can wander the house and stroll through parkland, is also a must for guests.

Nestled in the grounds of Logmore Farmhouse, a medieval building dating back to 1464 and full of history, enter the barn and prepare to be astounded by its wealth of character and charm. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, at the heart of this unique retreat, features high vaulted ceilings and beautiful revealed brickwork and beams. Light the wood burner in the great inglenook fireplace, then curl up on the soft leather sofas to enjoy its crackling heat. Find your favourite show on the Smart TV or pot a few balls on the pool table. The kitchen, which is tucked away in one corner of the room, features everything you need to assist you as you conjure up delicious meals with the Surrey-produced ingredients you have shopped for. Set the table for your feast and dine together in splendour. When eyelids begin to droop, and you are ready for a good night’s sleep, head off to one of your three bedrooms. The first of these, a double, is on the ground floor, with the family shower room opposite. The other two, both with sloping ceilings, are set into the eaves on the floor above. Here you have another double, this time with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin, with an en-suite bathroom.

The lovely gardens at the barn encompass a patio, where you can bask in the sunshine and dine under summer skies, as well as a lawn for children to play on. Guests benefit from parking for two cars.
