Set in 2 acres on the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this spacious Victorian country house is a brilliant base for celebrations and get-togethers. Stroll to the local pub, 0.5 miles away, and discover a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes in the market town of Brecon, 3.5 miles away. Active days are easy to plan: tee off at Cradoc Golf Club (5.5 miles), head to Llangorse Multi Activity Centre for water sports, climbing and horse riding (6 miles), and enjoy canal paths and cycle trails at Talybont-on-Usk (6 miles). Nature lovers can explore Talgarth and Pwll y Wrach Nature Reserve (8.5 miles), while book lovers will love browsing the shops in Hay-on-Wye (14.5 miles).

This grand property consists of a main house which sleeps 21 guests in nine bedrooms, with seven bathrooms, and a barn extension which sleeps ten guests in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms. The two properties are linked internally, so you’ll have full run of the whole place. Step into a generous porch and drying room, before entering a welcoming hallway with a sweeping staircase. There is a spacious room with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath; a king-size bedroom, and one single bedroom served by a family shower room opposite; a double bedroom with a shower room across the hall; and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. An additional WC can be found in the hall. There is also a spacious attic family room with a king-size bed and two singles, with an en-suite shower room. Three further bedrooms comprise two doubles, each with an en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom with a bathroom next door offering a shower over the bath. A ground-floor king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room is ideal for anyone with restricted mobility. A second family room incorporating a super-king-size bed and two singles, plus a king-size bedroom and twin bedroom, are served by a family bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower, plus an additional family shower room. For entertainment, there are four Smart TVs (located in two of the lounges and two of the family bedrooms) and a Bluetooth speaker. For little ones, two travel cots and three highchairs are available, along with plenty of toys and games.

Outside, the 2-acre grounds invite relaxing downtime or play, including a trampoline and hammock swing. Dine alfresco on the terrace, fire up the BBQ, and gather around the fire pit as dusk falls. A separate games barn offers a full-size table tennis table and a 7x4 slate-bed pool table.
