Set within a tranquil countryside setting, this beautifully designed luxury shepherd’s hut for two offers a truly special glamping escape. Cleverly created by seamlessly connecting two bespoke shepherd’s hut units, the result is one spacious, private retreat that feels far more generous than a traditional hut. The thoughtfully zoned layout provides distinct living and sleeping areas while retaining a warm, intimate atmosphere. Finished to a high standard throughout, the hut features underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, quartz worktops, a Belfast sink and stylish contemporary fittings, perfectly combining rustic charm with modern comfort for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Journey 2 miles to explore Llandudno, with its great range of eateries, along with traditional seaside gift shops and ice cream parlours. The town has two gorgeous beaches and sits on the Wales Coast Path, offering excellent walking opportunities. For spectacular sea views, hop on the cable car or tramway to visit Great Orme Country Park, where you can also say hello to the resident goats. Further afield, enjoy a day trip to the medieval walled town of Conwy (3 miles) or the mountain resort of Betws-y-Coed (17 miles). Heading south, you’ll also soon reach the network of walking trails through Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).

The boutique shepherd’s hut is located within a quiet part of a family-run caravan park and is reached via a small flight of steps. The wood-clad holiday home has a unique, twin-unit design – connected via an internal hallway – providing ample space for both guests to spread out and relax. Inside, the retreat is decorated in a contemporary style with a calming colour scheme and homely touches throughout, including cosy underfloor heating for winter months. The main living space is a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wood-panelled walls and countryside views. Unwind here after a long walk, rustling up a tasty supper for two to share at the dining table, or snuggle up on the plump sofa next to the roaring wood burner. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area, offering alternative sleeping arrangements. Just off the living space is an inviting king-size bedroom with pretty fairy lights and plush linens for a good night’s sleep. Completing the interior is an en-suite bathroom.

Outside, enjoy an al fresco drink on your enclosed, decked terrace whilst admiring the far-reaching views across the North Wales countryside. You’ll also have a small patio area with sun loungers, and beyond that is a grassy area that’s perfect for picnics in the sunshine. Private parking is available on site.

The shepherds hut was a lovely place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and everything was provided. The enclosed rear garden was perfect for our dog and although we didnt get chance to use the sun deck due to the cold weather I can see it would be a wonderful way to spend the evening with a glass of wine, watching the dog play while the sun goes dowRead moren. We had a lovely 5 night stay, so clean and comfortable and in a great location for visiting the local area. Lots of lovely walks and places to eat nearby.
