Also part of your accommodation, accessed from the decking adjacent to your front door, is a private, compost WC, aka The Throne Room. Less than a 50-metre stroll away, you’ll find the communal indoor shower block, with hot-water showers powered by an air-source heat pumps, and more flushing WCs.
An area of decking, sheltered by the overhanging roof, wraps around the accommodation, with armchairs and a double rocking chair for relaxing in the sunshine whilst admiring the views of the lake. The grounds include a variety of seating in different positions for watching the sunset, a BBQ area and a fire pit – bring something to sit on and prepare for an evening under the stars. You’re welcome to explore the walks through the grounds, use the rowing boat on the lake or set up your fishing rod (charges apply) and try to catch carp, rudd, barbel, tench and bream.
