It’s tucked away on a quiet residential street in St Lawrence, on a delightful stretch of the Isle of Wight coastline, filled with stunning walks and must-visit attractions. Just 0.5 miles away is Steephill Cove, a safe, sandy beach with clear waters and rock pools, backed by colourful beach huts. The same distance away is the Ventnor Botanic Garden, where you can explore 22 acres of rare and exotic plants. In Ventnor itself, just 1.5 miles away, you’ll find a popular beach and a great choice of places to eat and drink. For great days out, Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest theme park, is just 5.5 miles away, while Amazon World Zoo Park is 8 miles and Tapnell Farm Park is 16 miles.

The modest frontage of this detached house opens into truly impressive and spacious accommodation set over two storeys. From the hallway on the ground floor, enter the stunning, L-shaped living space, which includes a lounge, dining area and kitchen. Full of light, this fabulous room has a wide set of bi-fold glazed doors that lead to a balcony with seating and gorgeous views through the trees to the sparkling sea. In the kitchen, there’s an array of cooking equipment as well as a breakfast bar where you can sip a drink as you chat with the chef. For additional entertainment, you’ll have a Freeview TV and a DVD player with a choice of DVDs. On this level, there’s also a sweet single bedroom with a metal daybed, as well as a handy WC. Head down the stairs to find the remaining three bedrooms on the lower-ground floor. Both king-size bedrooms have patio doors leading onto a large balcony, and one boasts an en-suite shower. There’s also a bunk-bed room which is perfect for younger members of the group. Completing the interior is a handsome family bathroom.

With two decked balconies, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to sitting outside and enjoying the sights and sounds of the natural world around you. The larger (lower) balcony includes furniture for relaxing and dining al fresco, as well as a BBQ. There’s also an enclosed, steeply sloping lawned garden (accessed via external stairs from the kitchen). Parking is on the street at the front of the house.
