A very comfortable house, very well equipped. The footpath that leads eventually to the beach is far too long to be of practical use, carrying towels, picnic, etc. However, I did walk into Seahouses a few times, to do odd bits of shopping without having to find a parking place. Friends recommended the smokehouse - https://www.swallowfish.co.uk/ - tRead moreo us; well worth a visit. Hide

The property was clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and large TV. The location is great because it is on a quiet street but well located to walk to Seahouses harbour, nearby beaches or drive to other interesting places in Northumberland .

Could not park in front of cottage, neighbours card parked there 24/7 meaning had to carry everything from where we could find to park. Neighbours dogs constantly barking Hot water outlets had warning notices about very hot water which could be dangerous for children etc.surely the temp could be reduced to both save money and prevent accidents

Had a very enjoyable week. House is very well equipped and furnished. An easy 15 minute walk leads you to the sea front. Seahouses is a bustling place with a well stocked Co-op and a number of decent restaurants. Renting the house gives you membership of rhe Ocean club which is a pleasant place with swimming pool and lounge.

As mentioned in the feedback book, if you ever want to go somewhere to hear a pin drop, this is it! Very comfortable lounge and bedrooms well appointed; the cottage is well placed for the town and for touring the fabulous part of the country. Would we come back, you bet we would!

Lovely location and a great cottage. It was great to arrive after a long journey to have a fresh loaf, butter and a bottle of fizz left for us as a little welcome. Sea houses is a wonderful place with beautiful beaches and the area is full of history.
