This vibrant town is renowned for its excellent indoor market, where you can pick up some fantastic local goods, and, like Dalton-in-Furness, it has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Along the coast from Barrow-in-Furness, you’ll find the wide, sandy beach of Roanhead – a lovely spot for a wild and windy walk with views of the Lakeland fells. The beach is backed by Sandscale Haws Nature Reserve – a must for any keen birdwatchers.
Follow the winding path through the pretty cottage garden to the front door. Inside, the holiday retreat oozes style and elegance, with a fabulous collection of statement furniture, artwork, and accessories set against a backdrop of striking wallpapers and quirky soft furnishings. The ground floor is home to a beautiful kitchen with all the equipment and worktop space needed to cater for a large group. The remaining bedrooms can be found on the first floor and are a super-king-size zip-and-link, a king-size and a double.
