We had a lovely relaxing stay at Cove Bottom Cottage, a real home from home very peaceful surroundings. The holiday cottage had everything that we needed - if you like matchy matchy this is not the cottage for you. This cottage is a family home so there are paintings on the wall, books, the odd vase and shock horror lamps that do not match but iRead moref you want a stay at a cottage that is well equipped, very comfy sofas, extremely comfy bed, and a bathroom where when you have a shower where you might see the odd herd of deer go pass this is the cottage for you. Woke to the sound of the dawn chorus with a bonus of the local cuckoo joining in, lovely to sit outside with the first cup of tea of the day listening to the sounds of nature. We had our dog with us great walks locally, the longest journey we made by car was about 15 minutes from the cottage. We absolutely loved walking around the marshes at Walberswick, great village shop at Walberswick that sold lovely fresh fruit and veg, bread and everything you need. Would not hesitate to stay at the cottage again. We had a totally different experiece from a previously reviewer but I can honestly say that we had a lovely time. Be warned its a cottage in the country there will be spiders. Hide

We were the first guests at the cottage since it was listed in February. It smelt musty, damp and cold as we entered through the conservatory doors as we had no key for the front door presumably because of the ivy? growing up the door. Within the first few minutes of arriving at 4pm we found bugs on the lounge window and on the carpet.we opened the Read morewindow- big mistake - and 100's of bugs fell into the room. We had to hoover them up as fast as we could but then found them in the bedrooms and bathroom. Do you want more? Hide
