The property lies just 1 mile from the centre of Ingleton, a picturesque village surrounded by unforgettable countryside. This stunning area has miles of breathtaking walks for you to admire, with the magical Ingleton Waterfalls Trail beginning just a mile from the cottage. Heading into the Yorkshire Dales, you can explore the extensive White Scar Cave (2.5 miles), Britain's longest show cave. To the south, the glorious Forest of Bowland (5 miles) offers majestic landscapes, or you can head north-west into the southern fringes of the Lake District (16 miles). The historic town of Kirkby Lonsdale is just 6 miles away.

The welcoming entrance leads you through into the fresh and spacious lounge, which has an impressive double-height vaulted ceiling, with traditional wooden beams as well as an exposed stone wall, a wood burner, a smart TV and ample comfortable seating. Exploring this stylish retreat further, you will find a bright and inviting kitchen/diner, fully equipped and featuring a charming farmhouse-style dining table, making a fantastic spot for everyone to gather for a family feast. The main ground floor also offers a cosy, beautifully decorated double bedroom with an easily accessible en-suite wet room. A flight of six steps leads down to a lower level where you will find a refreshing bathroom and two further bedrooms: a pretty twin and a lovely bunk bedroom with full-size bunks.

Stepping outside, the enclosed patio garden has plenty of outdoor furniture so you can sit back, enjoy a drink in the evening and take in the magnificent surrounding views. Ample off-road parking is available.

This converted barn on a working farm is really lovely. We were there for a family get together on a chilly damp weekend in February and really appreciated the efficient central heating and wood burner. The owner welcomed us warmly and pointed out walks we could take directly from the cottage.
