Just 0.5 miles away lies the centre of Braunton, a large and lively village on Devon’s North Coast. Explore Braunton Burrows (2.5 miles), a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve famed for its sweeping sand dunes, lush greenery, rare plant life and abundant wildlife. On the far side of the burrows, you’ll reach Saunton Sands (3 miles), the area’s much-loved local beach. This idyllic 3-mile stretch of golden sand and sparkling sea is ideal for sunny days and offers some of the county’s very best surfing conditions. If surfing isn’t your bag, lace up your walking boots or hop on your bike to explore the Tarka Trail, a winding 180-mile, traffic-free route that showcases Devon’s stunning coast and countryside, leading from Braunton to Barnstaple (5.5 miles) or Instow (11 miles).

Lovely bungalow within walking distance to Braunton town. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Quality appliances. Dog safe and children safe garden. Easy to travel to other local places of interest including Barnstaple. We will definitely be going back.
