Situated in a traditional terrace in Santon Bridge, this home from home is warm and welcoming with original features dotted throughout. Enter this cottage in to the living room where exposed beams are complemented with wooden doors and cream walls. Two comfortable sofas and a chair surround the Victorian fireplace, perfect for settling down for a movie night after a busy day, with your pup snoozing at your feet as you warm your toes in front of the crackling, open fire. From here continue on to the beamed kitchen where the wooden table has seating for six, ideal for starting and ending the days with sociable mealtimes. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. The kitchen door leads to the downstairs WC then out to the garden. Upstairs the double bedroom has a lovely window seat set into the characterful exposed sandstone walls with views to the front of the property. The second bedroom is a small, twin room and there is a shower room.
Outside to the rear is a lovely, enclosed, garden entered via a small gateway opposite the back door across a cobbled rear access. Here there is a small patio with a table and chairs ideal for indulging in a spot of al fresco dining, enjoying the fantastic views of the Lakeland fells including Scafell Pike and Great Gable.
