The pet-friendly property is on the outskirts of the charming village of Saint Michaels, which has a friendly village inn. Further afield, take a day trip to the seaside town of St Andrews (7.5 miles), where you can admire the 12th-century cathedral, take a tour of the famous Old Course, and stroll along the beach. The waterfront city of Dundee (6.5 miles) also makes a lovely day out, with its excellent array of independent shops, eateries, and museums. For peace and tranquillity, head to Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve (5 miles) to walk through the pine forest, look out for rare sea birds in the sand dunes, and stride out across the sand flats to Tentsmuir Point. Alternatively, for a fun family day out, Craigtoun Country Park is just 8.5 miles away.

This Edwardian Arts and Crafts holiday home has been carefully decorated and furnished to complement the style of the property, with elegant wooden furniture, statement wallpapers, and vibrant soft furnishings. You’ll be welcomed into a cosy hallway with a warming wood burner, before moving through to the heart of the home. On the ground floor is a vast lounge with a feature bay window and a collection of comfortable seating set around a Smart TV and a second roaring wood burner. The stylish kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cater for a large group, and there’s an impressive dining room for hosting dinner parties and special occasions in the glow of a third wood burner. Just off the dining room is an office space, should you need to catch up on emails whilst away. The property also has a second breakfasting kitchen for informal gatherings. Rounding off the ground floor is a handy utility room and a twin bedroom with use of a shower room. You’ll find four more bedrooms on the first floor, with a final twin bedroom on the second floor. All of the bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities.

Outside, to the rear of the house, is a fully enclosed garden. Spend time here sharing al fresco suppers cooked on the BBQ, or soaking weary limbs in the hot tub. Private parking is available for five cars.
