A beautiful barn situated in magnificent grounds, this stone retreat is ideal for those wishing to immerse themselves in picturesque North Cornwall. Surrounded by shared, two-acre gardens and sitting in between two other converted farm barns, the three-bedroom hideaway sleeps six guests and is perfect for families or groups of adults. Just 1.5 miles from St Issey and 5.5 miles from Padstow. With many gorgeous beaches and pretty coves within easy reach, those who love swimming and surfing will be spoilt for choice. Try Trevone Bay, 6 miles away, with its tidal pool, or Porthcothan Bay, a 7.5-mile drive, where there are caves and rockpools. Visit Padstow, with its stylish shops, boutiques and eateries. While you are here, catch the ferry over to Rock and head out to its picturesque beach on the shores of the Camel Estuary. Pull on your walking boots and venture out along the Saints Way footpath into Padstow which passes the cottage. Or explore the South West Coast Path or Camel Trail during your stay.

Make your way into this cosy barn to find a warm welcome in its bright, friendly interior. At the heart of the inviting holiday home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen and adjoining dining area with a gorgeous, wood floors, heavy beams and charming stonework. Gather in here on the plump leather sofas to catch up on the news of the day or choose a film to watch together on the Smart TV as the wood burner crackles gently. Play games and take turns at playing chef over in the well-appointed kitchen space. Choose whether to dine together inside or out against the impressive backdrop of your surroundings. When eyelids droop and you are ready to turn in for the night, wander off to one of your three appealing bedrooms. These include a sumptuous, ground-floor super-king-size room, with an en-suite shower room. Your remaining bedrooms are on the first floor of the barn. These include a twin and a king-size room, also with the benefit of an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom upstairs.

Make fresh coffee in the machine and head out to your outside seating area to sip it in the sunshine as you listen to the birds. Dine outside too under clear night skies on summer evenings. Supervise the children as they have fun in the shared play area and 2 acre garden. There is private parking for three cars.
