Families will love Cannon Hall Farm, 7.5 miles away, with its friendly animals and fun, hands-on attractions. Langsett sits close to the Trans Pennine Trail, stretching from Hornsea to Southport, offering endless opportunities for leisurely walks, cycling routes, and stops at welcoming pubs along the way. Step inside this beautifully converted holiday cottage and into a stylish entrance hall with patterned heated tiled flooring, featuring a handy stand for coats and muddy boots. From here, a door leads into the downstairs WC, complete with a chic copper-coloured sink and a modern shower. Follow the glass-railed staircase upwards and the space opens into a stunning open-plan living area, where comfy velvet sofas is perfectly placed to soak up the incredible rural views through the windows. A Smart TV sits neatly on the wall, and a wood burner gives the whole room a warm, inviting feel. Just off the lounge, the sleek kitchen awaits, fully equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and a luxurious chocolate velvetiser for those indulgent moments. To your right, step into the first king-size bedroom, complete with an Emma mattress, soft robes, an elegant en-suite shower room, and a free-standing slipper bath within the bedroom finished with a beautiful countryside scenery frame through the window. On the opposite side, just past the kitchen, you’ll find the second king-size bedroom, equally inviting with its Emma mattress and sweeping rural views of the Dark Peak

Step outside and you’re greeted by a completely private outdoor haven framed by old stone walls and uninterrupted countryside views. The immediate field is a Site of Scientific Interest which grows rare orchids and is an ancient wildflower meadow. At the heart of the space is a four-person wood-fired hot tub, which you can slide into as the sun sets over the valley, catching a glimpse of the local wildlife around. Just beside it, a crackling fire pit sits surrounded by cosy seating. Why not cook on the Ninja Woodfire BBQ for a spot of al fresco dining? Rounding off the outdoor area, there is plenty of private parking space.

Loved this place the location is beautiful, the cottage is stunning throughout, and the owners are such nice people and dont bother you but are there whenever you need anything. The grounds are beautiful I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break or a hub to explore the peaks from.

We have a lovely weekend. The lovely attention to detail, the homemade lemon drizzle cake, even the milk in the fridge was just perfect. We especially loved the wood burning hot tub with the beautiful views. Heidi was was quick to respond each time we contacted her. We will definitely go back.

We had girls reunion from our time lived in Bahrain, from north and south of England we arrived and met at this location, my friends were impressed at how did I find that hidden gem, it is gorgeous!! Location, area, and surroundings, especially the reservoir nearby with water falls.. the cottage itself is beautiful clean and nicely designed and dRead moreecorated, the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils plates and pans, and the Nespresso coffee we had in the morning was so good. Had a wonderful few days away at this property. Our break was very relaxing, the property is in a peaceful spot. The accommodation was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The views were fantastic from the property. The hot tub was a real bonus and it was lovely to spend an hour as the sun was going down in the tub. OuRead morer host was very kind and helpful when we had a bit of an issue lighting the fire for the hot tub. Would recommend this property if you are looking to travel to this area. Hide

What a perfect way to end 2025 and start 2026! The four of us had a wonderful stay at Peak View. The view was even better than we anticipated, and we loved soaking it all in from the hot tub.
