This stylish holiday retreat enjoys a prime position in the village of Beadnell on the Northumberland coast. The property welcomes up to eight guests across four elegant bedrooms and is the perfect base for families and groups of friends seeking a seaside getaway. You’ll be just 300 metres from Beadnell Bay, which boasts a wide, crescent-shaped beach, making it a popular spot with bathers of all ages, rockpoolers and water sports enthusiasts. There are some lovely walks to enjoy nearby, including through the dunes and along the Northumberland Coast Path. The village itself has a good range of pubs and cafes, and you’ll find further eateries 2 miles along the coast in Seahouses. Seahouses is also the starting point for boat trips to the Farne Islands – a must for any wildlife enthusiasts. Other day trips from the holiday home include the charming village of Bamburgh, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens, all within 20 miles.

The detached, red-brick home is decorated in a contemporary style, with relaxing pastel shades and a subtle seaside theme in the accessories and artwork. Leave sandy shoes and beach gear in the porch before moving through to the social hub of the house: a large, open-plan kitchen/diner with wooden floors and French doors opening onto the garden. The stylish kitchen area has everything you need to prepare hearty meals for the group, along with a chic breakfast bar for perching with a morning coffee. In one corner is a large, plump sofa – the ideal spot to sit with a glass of wine as you wait for dinner. Rounding off the room is a large dining table for sharing family mealtimes whilst enjoying a view of the garden. After dinner, head through to the inviting lounge, where sumptuous seating and a beanbag are arranged around a Smart TV. Gather here, in the glow of the cosy wood burner, for movie nights. As night falls, climb the stairs to the first floor to discover four elegant bedrooms – three king-size, one twin – all with plush linens and calming tones for a good night’s sleep. Two of the king-size bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms, and there’s also a gorgeous family bathroom on this level.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden boasts a large lawn with ample space for outdoor games.
