We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed and very cozy cottage on the southern end of Snowdonia National Park. The cottage was warm and cozy and we enjoyed a fire every night with the complimentary logs and kindling provided. The garden shed (which is heated, has electricity and good WiFi reception) is a real bonus and we enjoyeRead mored sitting there in the evenings watching the sun set over the reservoir and the lambs frolicking in the field next door. All very idyllic. The beds were very comfortable and fluffy towels and crisp linen provided. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and enough dishwasher tablets etc provided for our stay. The village shop is a real gem open until late every day and it is very well stocked and the staff extremely friendly. The pub does a good pint as well and was always busy with hikers, many of whom stay in the village bunkhouse. The house was very good value for money, especially in comparison to other properties which, whilst closer to the main mountains everyone wants to climb, were a lot more expensive. Would highly recommend a stay here. Hide
