For a restful break close to some of Scotland’s most legendary sights, stay at this bright, two-bedroom bungalow. The family-friendly home is just 150 metres from the world-famous Gretna Green Blacksmith Shop – a dream if you’re attending a wedding or simply want to soak up the romance. Days out are varied, whether you fancy the Solway Coast (22 miles), the beauty of the Lake District (30 miles) or a day out in Carlisle (13.5 metres), with its castle and a chance to ride on the iconic Settle to Carlisle railway. Shoppers can head for Caledonia Park designer outlet (1 mile), while history lovers will enjoy The Devil’s Porridge Museum (4 miles), which tells the story of the two world wars. With villages and towns like Longtown (4 miles) and Annan (9 miles) close by, you’ll have plenty of options for food, supplies and sightseeing.

This was a really great property to stay in and is in a great location. Very modern and extremely clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

This property has been beautifully renovated and boasts high-quality fixtures and equipment. Its central location makes it a fantastic base for exploring the local area. The garden is small and backs onto a busy road, so a good idea to keep an eye on your dog. Overall, it was a a great stay.

Beautiful home, cant recommend it enough, can really tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the decoration. Great home base for the nearby train station, retail park & of course the Gretna green buildings not even a 10 minute walk. There was a nice guide with QR codes, where to eat, places to visit etc. Dog friendly as well which is a big pRead morelus for us as we take our dog on every weekend away. This was one of the best properties we have had the pleasure to stay in. The owners have spend time, money and effort on creating a show house property. Everything in the home was new and great quality. The location is excellent for attending the Famous Wedding venue, pubs were in walking distance. You also have the shopping outlet 5 minutes away aRead morend only 15 minutes to Annan or Carlisle. I would highly recommend this property and we would definitely return Hide

Walking into this property was a real joy after a long journey. It has obviously been completely refurbished to a very high standard. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and to have a boiler tap and Air Fryer was a plus. It is a really lovely holiday let and very well located for visiting our friends around the area.
