Embrace rural life in this delightful holiday home set on a working farm in East Yorkshire, just outside the peaceful village of Dunnington and only 5 miles from the coast. The area is full of places to explore: Bridlington (12 miles) offers classic seaside fun with its bustling harbour, long sandy beaches, amusements, and the well‑known Bridlington Spa for shows and events. Fraisthorpe Beach, 10 miles away, is dog‑friendly all year and has a lovely café overlooking the sea. The traditional seaside town of Hornsea (5 miles) is perfect for a relaxed day out, with its promenade, shops, and the beautiful Hornsea Mere for waterside walks and wildlife. The historic market town of Driffield (7 miles) is great for browsing independent shops and enjoying its weekly markets, while Beverley (15 miles) offers Georgian streets, boutique shopping, and its magnificent Gothic minster. For a livelier day trip, Hull (less than 20 miles) has plenty to see, including The Deep, the marina, and the impressive Hull Minster. Nature lovers are spoilt for choice too: Bempton Cliffs is a world‑famous bird‑watching hotspot, and Flamborough Head is one of the best places on the coast for spotting seals.

Inside, the cottage is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully furnished, with calming tones and beautiful wooden pieces throughout. Leave coats and boots in the hallway before stepping into the spacious open‑plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where wooden floors and patio doors create a bright, airy feel. The country‑style kitchen is ideal for preparing hearty meals with local produce, enjoyed at the dining table overlooking the veranda. Completing the ground floor is a convenient WC. After dinner, unwind on the comfortable sofas and enjoy your favourite shows on the Smart TV. Upstairs, two peaceful bedrooms await both with Smart TV's, an attractive double with plenty of storage and a cosy twin that can be made up as a super‑king‑size on request. A family bathroom completes this floor. Please note that the first floor has sloping ceilings, with some areas of restricted head height.

Outside, enjoy both the enclosed, decked veranda and the additional fully enclosed yard area, giving dogs and children a safe space to roam while you relax. Guests also have access to a peaceful paddock with benches, a lovely spot to sit and watch the horses grazing in the neighbouring fields. As this is a working farm, you’ll be able to see the owner’s horses, admire the Hebridean sheep, and spot free‑range chickens and friendly farm cats going about their day. A BBQ is provided for al fresco dining, and private parking is available for two cars.

We had the most amazing time at this stunning cottage. It's a real home from home, has everything you could possibly need and lots of thoughtful extras like a welcome pack, doggy welcome box, homemade break and cake. Charlotte, James, Henry and Harleigh were all so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It's lovely having the animals just outRead moreside, including the friendly dogs who love to come and say hello. We honestly didn't want to leave and were looking at dates to come back on the drive home! We've booked again for July already! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! See you again soon! Lovely rural location with friendly and helpful owner on site at the farm. Cottage is newly furnished and very well equipped and an amazing welcome pack too. Post code and sat nav directs you well, the cottage is through the gate next to the defibrillator (and key box). The facilities at Stable cottage were some of the best we've experienced. It made it a real home from home. From the moment we arrived - welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, bread, wine and a homemade lemon cake
