Perfect for friends or family, this delightful apartment in Penzance makes an excellent base for exploring coastal Cornwall. Once known for its tales of pirates and smugglers, this historic port town is full of character and charm, with plenty to see and do right on your doorstep. Start your day by wandering through Penzance’s historic streets, where you’ll find independent galleries, museums, and antique shops to browse. Take time to visit the town’s subtropical gardens, before savouring lunch or dinner in one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby. A stroll along the beachfront promenade at sunset is a wonderful way to round off the day. Just 3.5 miles away, the spectacular St Michael’s Mount rises from the sea – a tidal island complete with a medieval castle and terraced gardens. Head 10 miles west to Land’s End, where you can enjoy breathtaking clifftop walks and dramatic sea views at mainland England’s most westerly point.

Step in from the street, hang up your coats, and climb the staircase to discover a bright and stylish seaside apartment designed for comfort and relaxation. Off the landing, you’ll find a sleek, modern family bathroom and two beautifully presented bedrooms – one king-size and one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as twins on request). High ceilings and large windows fill the rooms with natural light, creating an inviting sense of space throughout. Continue through to the open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area – the social heart of the home. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up tasty holiday meals, with a breakfast bar for sociable dining. After a day roaming the coast, sink into the plush sofas and unwind in front of the Smart TV for a cosy night in.

Although there’s no private garden, the seafront promenade is just moments away for morning strolls, sunset walks, or simply soaking up the sea air. On-street parking is available nearby, or if you prefer to travel by train, the station is conveniently less than half a mile from your door.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and the shower worked well. The location was ideal, about 5 minutes walk from both the train and bus stations, although most of that was up hill. Three small supermarkets weren't much farther away on the main street plus a good selection of local independent shopRead mores on Causeway Head. Kitchen facilities were a bit basic though all the electrical stuff worked well. The area is mostly terraced houses with lots of cars, which would have made parking close by tricky, but next to the bus station is a huge open-air car park with long-term parking. Importantly, we would stay there again in future! Hide
