Enjoy the fresh sea air, gorgeous scenery and majestic castles of this magical part of Northumberland with a stay at this inviting cottage. Ideal for couples or groups of friends and family, the welcoming property is just steps from Seahouses’ charming harbour lined with independent shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. Outdoor enthusiasts are spoiled with nearby attractions, including the Northumberland Coast Path which passes just over 300 metres away and leads to pretty spots like Bell’s Point (1 mile), Benthall (2.5 miles) and golden Beadnell Bay (4 miles). For more outdoor adventure, Seahouses sits in the heart of the Northumberland Coast National Landscape, making it easy to uncover popular seaside attractions including Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles) and The Holy Island of Lindisfarne (19 miles). For a memorable day out, a short stroll to Seahouses Harbour (300 metres) opens opportunities for wildlife cruises around the Farne Islands.

Enter the cottage via the back door and be welcomed by a pretty, white-washed kitchen/diner with an airy feel. The well-appointed kitchen boasts everything needed for cooking up Northumberland feasts, while the oval dining table offers the perfect spot for enjoying the chef’s work as you plan tomorrow’s schedule. After dinner, amble through to the cosy lounge where ample soft seating allows you to rest weary walking muscles while the wood burner crackles and the TV entertains. At the end of each busy day away, head upstairs to the first floor and choose from three restful bedrooms; an electric stair lift and handrail help those with limited mobility. The bedrooms comprise one master king-size room, a regular twin bedroom and a cosy single, all served by a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, unwind in the front garden, which is enclosed for the safety of children and pets. Gather at the outdoor furniture for quiet morning brews and al fresco evening meals, and use the rear gate as a shortcut to the village centre. Guests will also benefit from private parking behind the property, with space for one car.
