Set in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape, this charming home offers the perfect base to families and groups of friends planning both coast and countryside adventures together. The host town of Sheringham (centre 1 mile away) offers a mix of relaxation and seaside adventure; stroll along the promenade, plan days on the beach, explore the shops and eateries, or climb aboard the North Norfolk Railway for a heritage steam railway journey to Holt (6.5 miles). Holt itself charms with its Georgian appeal and selection of boutique shops, galleries and cosy cafes. The lively resort of Cromer (4 miles) is another spot to visit for seaside bliss; explore the Victorian pier, sample the famous Cromer Crab, or join the scenic Norfolk Coast Path for rambles that follow the county’s golden beaches and waterside towns.

Kick off sandy shoes in the entrance hallway and head deeper into the property to uncover a spacious and beautifully presented coastal retreat. The first of two living rooms awaits on your left, where you can unwind after days of Norfolk adventure; flick on the Smart TV, and sink into the plush seating. The second living room is also accessed from the ground-floor hallway, offering room for your group to spread out. This room boasts another Smart TV and a roaring wood burner for chillier nights. When stomachs start to rumble, walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner where sleek fittings and modern appliances sit under sky lights that flood the room with natural light. Find all you need to cook up a group feast, which can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar if numbers are low, at the dining table for more formal affairs, or alfresco-style out on the patio. On balmy days, throw open the French doors and let the fresh air flow through this open-plan space. A handy utility area completes the ground floor. Upstairs, four welcoming bedrooms each offer a restful night’s sleep. Choose from a master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and sea glimpses, another double room, a cosy single, and a bunk room perfect for little ones. Completing the interior is a well-appointed family bathroom.

Outside, make full use of the spacious and enclosed garden where a flat lawn offers the perfect spot for garden games or simply unwinding with your holiday read. A furnished patio is on-hand for morning brews, while the patio furniture and BBQ combine for al fresco meals together. Guests also benefit from a secure bike storage in the garage, as well as driveway parking for three cars.

Fab cottage, beautifully decorated, well located in walking distance of the beach, well stocked..even loads of dog bowls, toys, bed and babygates for the dogs. Gorgeous garden for sunny drinks while dogs played. Quiet location with beautiful surrounding houses but very local to shops. Couldnt ask for more for a better stay...we will be back.

Lovely house, large and bright kitchen dinner, plenty of space for 7 of us. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen, books, and games. All rooms are cosy and welcoming a perfect place for a break to the Norfolk coast.
