Located in the town of Swanage, this apartment is one of five and boasts access to all local amenities like shops, restaurants and bars within half a mile. The property is located on a hill coming out of town, so bear this in mind when carrying your souvenirs back! The apartment is conveniently located for accessing both the local town of Swanage, Swanage Bay, Durlston Country Park and Old Harry Rocks, which is part of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. All in all, a lovely base for exploring the local area and finding all the jewels that it has to offer.

The apartment is located on the second floor of the Victorian Villa, accessed up an initial eight external steps into the communal hallway and then a further flight of stairs to the first-floor landing where the front door of the apartment is. Two more flights of stairs are presented upon entering the apartment, with a halfway landing for storage. All of the accommodation is on one level and is located in the eaves of the building, so there are some areas of restricted height. An abundance of Velux windows gives the interiors a light and airy feel. On entering the main accommodation, there is a spacious lounge/diner with comfortable furniture and extensive views of the local town and Swanage Bay. The kitchen is modern and benefits from picturesque sea views, a pretty space to be in when you’re cooking the dinner. There are two bedrooms: a double with sea views and a twin. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC.

The property benefits from parking for one car to the front of the property.

Excellent location (albeit at the top of the hill). Great to have off street parking. Just what we needed for a well deserved holiday.

Puffin Lookout is very conveniently located a 5/10 minute walk from Swanage centre, its warm, comfortable and nicely decorated and furnished. We had a brilliant Twixtmas stay and the welcome pack was a lovely touch!

Lovely clean, light flat in a great location with easy access to town. Beautiful views although being high up means the walk back is very steep (plus steps to the flat) but we felt it was worth it to be able to lay in bed and look at the sea. We appreciated the wine and biscuits but would have loved a comfier sofa and a bit more space to stretch ouRead moret and relax. A great spot though and very good value for money, always a pleasure to stay in lovely Swanage. Hide

Perfect property. Well equipped and decorated throughout, bright, sunny snd great to have onsite parking. Short walk to town centre for beach, shops, pubs, cafes, steam train, buses (which are an excellent way for sightseeing). Durleston Country Park a short walk away. Be like a local and use the alleyway at Manor Street to and from town to avoid tRead morehe steepness of the main route to town. Plenty to do in Swanage and Puffin Outlook was a lovely place to stay. Very well maintained accommodation with lovely views but you need to be fit to climb all 45 stairs to the accommodation.
