Property code: OC-93246

Located on the eastern tip of the Isle of Wight, the village of Bembridge boasts an array of picturesque sights and local attractions. Dramatic tides make the surrounding seafront an ever changing experience; from rock pooling and walking along the beach at low tide, to swimming and boating at high tide. The RNLI lifeboat shop and station at Lane End beach is a hub of activity, with the Crab and Lobster Pub, and the Harborview Café being other great destinations just off the beach. Quaint shops, galleries, and local eateries line the village's streets, serving freshly caught seafood, and local ales. For nature lovers, the Bembridge Trail offers a serene pathway through marshes and woodlands, while Culver Down is an ideal spot for hiking and breath-taking coastal vistas.

The house was renovated in 2023 by an architect and designer couple, giving the house a unique character and attention to detail. The house has a spacious and light-filled ground floor, which is surrounded by gardens, and a quiet upstairs with three bedrooms and a generous family bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances and equipment and a central island. The kitchen transitions into a large ‘sun-room’ with high ceilings and large windows looking out to the garden. A large dining table and sofas provide a comfortable space to dine, socialise, or relax. Adjacent to the sunroom, an additional living room provides a versatile space for all ages. Complete with full size football table, books, toys, a television, and a comfortable sofa bed, it can be used as a private and quiet fourth bedroom by closing the doors and drawing the blackout curtains. An entry hall with ample space for shoes and coats, and a downstairs WC with washer and dryer make for ease of use during your stay. Three bedrooms and a family bathroom are accessed off a large sunny landing at the top of the stairs. There are two double bedrooms with full height wardrobes and blackout blinds. One double bedroom has a workspace, perfectly catering to remote work demands or creative pursuits. The third bedroom features a sturdy bunk bed, with a ‘small double’ mattress on the lower bunk, making it comfortable for children and adults.

The front garden provides privacy and a lovely space to enjoy the evening light. The large rear garden basks in sunlight all day, with several different areas to enjoy, including a patio with large dining table and gas BBQ, as well as festoon lighting for the evening. A lush lawn, gravel garden with abundant coastal planting and areas to sit, a greenhouse, a summerhouse, and seating area surrounded by planting near the house which catches the sun in the mornings and shade in the afternoon, are all available for your enjoyment. A gate at the rear of the garden provides easy access to and from the footpaths to the beach, and access to an additional parking area. This gate is secure, allowing guests to store bikes in the rear garden with ease. Sunny Beach House is a unique home away from home, which can be enjoyed any time of year.

Really enjoyed our 1 week stay at the Sunny Beach House. Owners have done a lovely job refurbing the house and it was perfect for our family of four + dog. So much light in the living space. Well equipped & comfortable - a great base for exploring the Isle of Wight.

A bright, clean and comfortable property. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of comfy seating and lovely comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting in the well planted garden, and our dog, Ollie, loved exploring and running around in it. The position of the property was excellent, on a quiet road with beaches, a pub, beach cafe and aRead more large Co-Op only minutes away. We also discovered Sally's Riding School, again just minutes away, for a beach ride! Hide

Beautiful home in a great location. Close to Bembridge high street, with a Co-op even closer and only 6/7 minutes walk from a great pub and seafood shop. Would absolutely return if possible.

Lovely ground floor kitchen diner and good garden with lots of space and sunshine. Handy parking outside front or back doors. Street is OK (a bit noisy in the morning) and it's a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Great local shop and pub and a good base to explore the island from. Bedrooms are sparse and small beds so not great for anyone tall/big!
