The property is an easy drive from the North Cornish coast, and it's easy to pick up the footpath that leads to Porthilly Cove on the Camel Estuary. Porthilly links to the famous Rock Beach across the beach at low tide. Enjoy all the adventures and water sports that the coast has to offer, with sea safaris, sailing and water skiing available in Rock. Surfers, beginners or advanced, can head to nearby Polzeath, which is 4 miles away. Discover the historic house, Grade II-listed gardens and Iron Age Fort at family-friendly Pencarrow, just 9 miles away. Otherwise, you can visit National Trust Carnewas and Bedruthan to experience cliff-top vistas and walk along the coastal paths, 20 miles away.

This is an elegant and beautiful manor house, boasting stylish decor and generous social spaces both inside and outside, so you can host celebrations from dinner parties to BBQs. From the entrance, you will notice the striking staircase, above which is a feature window etched with a nautical tale. The entrance hall leads to the downstairs living spaces, including a spacious lounge with comfortable seating, an open fire and views over the garden, ideal for relaxed conversations. The dining area is a superior space with panelled walls and wooden floors, bringing a wonderful ambience to celebratory feasts. The kitchen covers all your catering needs and features wooden ceiling beams and a slate floor. There is an adjoining dining area for more informal meals. Upstairs, the first floor encompasses two super-king-size bedrooms, each with an en-suite, and a further king-size, double and two twin bedrooms, all featuring wooden floors.

A large, landscaped garden, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ, makes for an ideal entertaining space in fine weather. To access the garden, there are two small steps up. Private parking for three cars is provided.

Nicely decorated and spacious property, well placed for access to Rock and the local area, including The Point and St. Enedoc golf courses.

A large, panelled dining room with open fireplace lends itself well to winter celebrations, while the six bedrooms and four bathrooms should give every generation a feeling of space and indulgence.

Head down to Cornwall this NYE and check into Rockhaven Manor, which is big enough for the whole family (and maybe even your best mate's family too). A crab Newburg recipe is etched into the slate under the worktop, so pick up some fresh crab from the local fishmonger and kick off the New Year as you mean to go on, with freshly-cooked food, good wiRead morene and great company.
