Tucked away down a secluded lane, just moments from the hustle and bustle of the seaside village of Rock, this delightful family-friendly getaway offers the ultimate retreat for relaxation and quality time with loved ones. From the doorstep, pick up the footpath that leads across St Enodoc Golf Course and down to Rock Beach (1 mile) to enjoy exploring the dunes, building sandcastles, sunbathing and paddling. Hop aboard a sea safari with Wavehunters from Rock less than half a mile away, learn to sail or water ski with Rock Sailing and Water Ski Club half a mile away or take a dip in the calm waters at Porthilly Cove, half a mile away. For those wanting to learn to surf, Polzeath Beach, 2.5 miles away, is home to plenty of surf schools. In the heart of Rock, an array of local shops, restaurants, and cafes await to be discovered.

The warm, honey-toned wooden floor of the entrance hallway leads you through to the stylish kitchen, equipped with all the essentials required for preparing everything from hearty breakfasts to evening feasts. Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen is the adjoining lounge/diner, which features large picture windows and bi-fold doors leading to the garden. Neutral hues combined with pops of colour perfectly reflect the vibrancy of your stunning surrounding scenery. On a fine evening, open the bi-fold doors to make the most of indoor/outdoor living. The four beautifully styled bedrooms have each been designed for a restful night’s sleep. The en-suite king-size offers a peaceful sanctuary, complete with full-length glass doors that open onto the patio. The second king-size bedroom and twin bedroom are both thoughtfully decorated with coastal accents, both conveniently located opposite the delightful family shower room. Located in its own wing of the house, the third king-size bedroom benefits from direct access to a contemporary wet room.

Outside, the large patio is the heart of the outdoor living space. Whether you're soaking up the sunshine on the sun loungers or gathered around the Cornish stone seating area, you’ll be able to take in the peaceful surroundings. After a day of exploring Rock's beaches, unwind in the bubbling hot tub or gather for drinks on the terrace before firing up the BBQ with the day's fresh seafood haul. Outside, you’ll also find private parking for four cars.

Three generations, we had a lovely time at Penolver Lodge. Beautiful bungalow, well equipped for all our needs. Great fun in the hot tub. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Penolver Lodge is a wonderful haven. This beautiful home far surpassed our expectations. It was perfect for our stay here. We will be coming back for more visits. Best place were ever stayed (& we have been coming for over 10 years)! Hot tub was amazing.
