Escape to this characterful Rock holiday home, well placed for beach days, outdoor adventure, and coastal charm. Just 1.5 miles away, Rock Beach sits beside Daymer Bay, and at low tide the sands link, creating endless space for picnics, BBQs, sandcastle building, and beach games. Roam the dunes and rock pools, while the calm waters are perfect for a safe paddle or an early morning swim. For a scenic stroll, follow the path opposite the cottage across the fields to Polzeath (2 miles), where surf schools provide board hire and lessons, or simply enjoy a wander along the soft sands. Golfers in the group can tee off at the nearby St Enodoc Golf Club (1 mile), with two beautiful courses boasting views across the estuary. For a taste of Cornish harbour life, hop on the ferry from Rock to Padstow. Explore the bustling harbour, browse the independent shops, and sample some of the famous fish and chips.

Step inside and onto cool slate flagstones, with glimpses of old stonework and wooden beams amongst the decor. Fabulous cottage in a prime location and was walking distance to all the amenities. Latitude 50 were really helpful and on the other end of the phone whenever needed. The cottage felt homey, Cornish and modern - but Cornish cottage style modern, not glass panes and slate. There was a welcome package of delicious treats when we arrived which was a lRead moreovely surprise. My only comments are: A tumble dryer is needed - especially when the radiators are complicated to use (with no instructions) Parking I think stated 4 cars? We have a Honda CRV 2021 and the other car in our group was an Audi A1 - you could probably get 1 more car on the driveway, I would think 4 is a bit of a stretch. It takes a bit of manoeuvring to get into the drive way for big cars and you cant do proper 3 point turns to get out (more like 7 point turn), so have to reverse down a very narrow lane to get out. Staircase is typical cottage which is narrow and steep, so recommend anyone who has issues climbing stairs to stay in the downstairs bedroom, but the house offers beautiful rooms throughout the property so this really isnt a compromise at all. I would absolutely stay here again, we felt at home immediately and already want to go back! Hide

Lovely house , its a credit to the owners who have furnished it superbly ,location is spot on for shops and easy walk to the Mariners and ferry would highly recommend , 5 stars
