Set amongst glorious countryside, this pretty home is well positioned to explore the Cornish coastline. The golden sands of Polzeath Beach are 2 miles away, where you can build sandcastles or enjoy taking a dip on calmer days. The village itself has a couple of restaurants and pubs, so you can pick up something to eat before you head back. Head off on long scenic walks through the coastal hiking area owned by the National Trust, Pentireglaze (1.5 miles) or along the winding South West Coast Path (0.5 miles). Visit the fishing village of Rock (3 miles) set on the River Camel, where you can take a boat over to Padstow or enjoy paddleboarding and other water sports. For fun family days out, visit Camel Creek Family Adventure Park or the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre (both within 13 miles).
This characterful home welcomes you with lovely, bright interiors from the second you walk in. The whole of the ground floor is open-plan with flagstone floors and high ceilings. To one side of the space, you will find a stylish kitchen area which has all the amenities you need to prepare picnics or create hearty dinners – there is plenty of surface and storage space too. A kitchen table has four seats where you can socialise and eat together. Once you are full up, curl up on the sofa in front of the warming wood burner. A downstairs WC and utility cupboard housing laundry facilities complete the ground floor. The spiral staircase is in the centre of the room and leads upstairs to the two sumptuous bedrooms set under vaulted ceilings. Both rooms boast super-king-size beds, one with an en-suite bathroom, the other with zip-and-link beds that convert to twins on request. A family shower room completes the interior.
Outside, the spectacular garden areas provide plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy a summer BBQ or evening tipple under dark skies. Guests also have seasonal access to an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, which are shared with the neighbouring properties. Ample parking is also provided.
