Located among waterside wildflower meadows down a winding track, this beautiful home sits right on the Camel Estuary. Perfect for families and groups of friends, guests can enjoy the private beach and wild swimming or explore the many acres of countryside surrounding the property. The quaint fishing village of Rock is 1 mile away, where you can pick up amenities or grab a bite to eat. From here, you can launch your boat and travel less than 1 mile down the river to moor at the property. If you fancy a long, scenic walk, join the South West Coast Path from Rock and pass by several secluded bays and golden beaches. For fun family days out, Camel Creek Family Adventure Park is 12.5 miles away, where you’ll find attractions for all ages.

Wind down the track and park up outside this single-storey coastal property. Stepping through the front door and be welcomed into a hallway and utility area where you can store luggage, dog items, and beach gear. The open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen has everything you need to rustle up tasty meals, and a dining table overlooks the tidal river below. Curl up on the sofas and watch the Smart TV or spend the evening socialising together. Adjacent is a glass conservatory with further seating, superb for relaxing with a good book. When you are ready for some shuteye, the three bedrooms are bright and airy, decorated in neutral tones. Choose from a master king-size room or two twin bedrooms that both convert to super-king-sizes on request. The beach-themed family bathroom has a bath, shower and WC, and there is also a separate WC.

Outside, you will be spoilt for choice with places to enjoy. First up is the spacious balcony, accessed from the bi-fold doors, with garden furniture and a BBQ – sip on a morning coffee or an evening tipple while listening to the water lap against the shore. A private slipway, which is very steep and adjacent to the property, leads down to a private shingle beach, while the surrounding wildflower meadows and lawns provide ample opportunity to explore. A secluded property in a stunning location. Time to immerse yourself in nature. A reasonably well appointed house with plenty of comfortable furniture within. Could do with an update on furniture outside.

We chose this property as it was away from it all. The views were stunning and we enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful meadows. It was so quiet! We also enjoyed watching the water skiers at high tide - a perfect home for all three generations.

A fantastic two weeks has flown by at The Boathouse. The weather has been kind to us. Weve enjoyed some incredible sunsets and sunning ourselves on the balcony. Watching the ebb and flow of the tide from the conservatory has been a daily highlight. Thank you for such an incredible stay we hope to be back.
