Situated in the heart of the Cornwall countryside, your group of seven can enjoy pure peace and tranquillity. Head off on foot and explore the estate yourselves which sits on the banks of the Camel Estuary. The lovely, bustling town of Wadebridge (2 miles) has an abundance of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs where you will find something to whet everyone’s appetite. In the other direction, the fishing village of Rock (4 miles) is great for those wanting to relax on the beach or take to the water on a paddleboard or kayak. You can hop on a boat over the river to the pretty town of Padstow, too. Family days out can be had at Camel Creek Family Adventure Park (10 miles), home to animals and attractions aplenty.

Stepping inside this pretty home, sash windows and high ceilings make each room feel bright and airy. Upon entering, you can leave your walking boots in the spacious hallway and head through to the inviting kitchen/diner, where you can create and eat hearty breakfasts and memorable dinners. On an evening, head through to the plush living space. Fire up the warming wood burner and curl up on the sofas while you plan the days ahead. A handy utility room and a shower room complete the downstairs. When you are ready to rest weary heads, climb the stairs to the first floor, where a generous landing opens out to three bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom. The master bedroom is a sumptuous king-size, while the other two bedrooms provide flexible sleeping options: a single bedroom with an additional truckle bed, and a family room with a super-king-size zip-and-link, plus a single bed.

Outside, the property boasts a beautiful, mature garden laid mostly to lawn, with a lovely sun terrace complete with garden furniture. Guests can explore the estate’s grounds and surrounding woodland, and will also benefit from parking for two cars.

We had a fantastic holiday. Beautiful house, great for members of the group who did not wish to go to the beach all of the time and great for dog walking, we hope to be back.
