Perched on a clifftop in Polzeath, this holiday home with a separate annexe is an excellent base for a family or friends' getaway, packed with sea, sand, and adventure. Start the day with a dip at the secluded Baby Bay, then spend long, lazy hours on Polzeath Beach. With lifeguards on duty during the main season, the beach is safe for all ages. For a change of scenery, the nearby beaches of Greenaway, Daymer Bay, and Rock are just a couple of miles away. Walkers, surfers, and wild swimmers can explore miles of scenic coastal paths, taking in the cliffs of Pentire Point and the striking rock formations of The Rumps. Polzeath’s famous surf conditions attract surfers from far and wide, with boards and lessons available at the beach via local surf schools. When it’s time to refuel, a stroll along the beach or coastal path brings you to Polzeath’s restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Ideal for two distinct groups or those who appreciate a little extra space, the annexe features a convenient kitchenette, comfortable living area, shower room, a twin bedroom that can be converted to a super-king on request, and a fun bunk bedroom for the kids. Step inside the main cottage and you’ll be greeted by original parquet flooring and chunky slate flagstones that set the tone for a home full of charm. The dining table sits beneath a bay window with a window seat – the perfect spot to watch the world go by while enjoying hearty breakfasts or evening meals together. The adjoining farmhouse-style kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up holiday feasts or packing picnic lunches for days out along the rugged North Cornish coastline. The cosy living area offers a tempting retreat after a day of discovery. In summer, gaze across the Camel Estuary as boats drift by, and in winter, watch the waves crash dramatically against the cliffs from the warmth of the vast corner sofa. When it’s time to rest, choose from three inviting bedrooms. The master king-size bedroom boasts garden and sea views, while the super-king bedroom (convertible to a twin) comes with a sleek en-suite shower room. Children will love the bunk bedroom, and a chic family bathroom completes the interior.

Outside, the property continues to impress with a sun deck, covered porch, lawn, and a dining table for al fresco meals. A handy outdoor shower, WC, wetsuit hanging rail, and board storage make trips to the water effortless. Parking is available at the rear for one large car or two small cars, with additional street parking and a public car park nearby.

We had the best time. Polzeath is a great place for relaxing if you love the beach life and some good places to eat. The mini supermarket has practically everything you'll need. The cottage is in a superb position and sitting in the garden and at the large window of an evening watching the beach and sea was perfect; take binoculars to really enjoy.Read more Beds very comfortable. Big kitchen with everything you need, a good equipped laundry room. Relaxing sofa in living room and large dining table. You can get two cars on driveway, but it's a bit tight but doable. Would very much recommend. Hide
