Tucked away on a private estate and boasting breathtaking estuary views, this beautifully presented cottage is a fantastic option for beachgoing guests. Despite your remote location, you are just a short drive away from the sought-after beaches of Porthilly Cove, Rock, and Polzeath. Spend days lazing on the sands before warming up in a cosy coastal pub, with a pint of Cornwall’s finest. When it comes to energetic activities, you’ll be spoiled for choice, with the world-class golf course of St Enodoc (2 miles), sailing at Rock Sailing and Waterski Club (2 miles), and a surfing school on Polzeath Beach (4.5 miles). The Camel Trail, which backs onto the home, is an excellent option for those wanting to explore on foot or two wheels. Finish the day by picking up fresh produce in the market town of Wadebridge (5 miles), to enjoy back in your luxurious cottage.

As you cross over the threshold, your immediate estuary views are breathtaking and establish the tone for the rest of your relaxing break. Enter the property to be met with a farmhouse-style kitchen/diner that’s fitted with all the equipment needed for your group stay. The central circular dining table is perfect for taking in the mesmerising views and enjoying the company of your guests. Beside the front door is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. From the kitchen/diner, enter the living room, where glass doors frame the glorious views, and you can sink into plush sofas and soak in the heat of the wood burner. At bedtime, the ground-floor hallway makes way to three delightfully decorated rooms, including a double with a TV and estuary views, and two light and bright twin bedrooms. Adjacent to the double sits a bathroom with a shower, bath and WC. Upstairs, on the first floor, a king-size bedroom with a TV, glass doors to the garden and an en-suite bathroom provides a private sanctuary for weary travellers.

The outside space is truly special, with a large garden, a beautiful terrace with more spectacular views, and acres of shared woodland, fields and lawns to explore. The garden furniture means guests can put their feet up and stay a while, and the charcoal BBQ beckons hungry adventurers. There’s also shared access to a tennis court and four parking spaces.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for the wedding we attended. The house was well-equipped and ideal for the mixed family group.
