A splendid two-storey property situated on the riverside, this charming Norfolk home offers an ideal location for a restful holiday as a couple or small family. Set in the Broads National Park, guests are surrounded by tranquil waterways and footpaths while also being within easy reach of the county’s golden coastline. The village of Wroxham (1 mile) perches on the River Bure and provides a lovely destination for fishing and birdwatching; it’s also a major centre for boat hire, and home to both Wroxham Barns and the Bure Valley Railway. For a day in the city, vibrant Norwich is just 9 miles away with its historic markets, famous cathedral, and many places to eat and drink. For a day by the sea, the coastal gems of Winterton-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth, Waxham, and Sea Palling are all within 19 miles.

Boasting contemporary-meets-rustic styling, this welcoming home blends vintage wooden accents with modern comforts for a splendid stay. Kick off sandy walking shoes in the entrance hallway and move through to the property’s social heart – the open-plan lounge/diner. Unwind in the lounge space after days of Norfolk adventure; sink into the soft seating, flick on the Smart TV, and slide open the French doors to let the fresh air flow through. When stomachs rumble, lay up the wooden dining table nearby and move through to the well-appointed kitchen, where you’ll find everything needed for a self-catered stay. At the end of each busy day away, climb the stairs to the first floor and find a choice of two restful bedrooms: two double rooms, one of which boasts an additional single bed. Serving the bedrooms and completing the home is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, make full use of the enclosed rear garden and decking, with outdoor furniture perfect for waterside morning brews and starlit evening meals. Guests will also benefit from private parking for one car, and mooring space for one boat.

We've just returned from our stay in Wroxham and what a lovely property! Brilliant location, only 5 mins walk from the all the amenities, and it was just as it appeared in the photos. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable few days. All the pre arrival instructions were spot on so the minute we arrived we could start enjoying our long weekend. TheRead more view from the lounge is just lovely and if the weather had been a little warmer we could have easily sat outside enjoying a drink or 2 on the very well designed and maintained terrace. We would highly recommend this property and most certainly return book if we are in the area again. Hide
