We've had a lovely week at The Old Cow Shed. It's a lovely light and comfortable holiday home and we'd love to return one day. The peace and quiet is very restorative and the carpets of daffodils in the grounds are amazing. The hot tub was much appreciated too. A missing shelf in the fridge was promptly dealt with, thank you. We'd recommend the BlRead moreack Lion Pub in Appledore. Excellent food at a good price. Hide

Beautiful cottage with amazing views in a peaceful location. The cottage is well maintained throughout, comfortable and well decorated. Good amount of allocated secure parking per cottage. I do not hesitate in recommending this cottage.

Lovely and relaxing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds. Very private and quiet. Lots of places to visit in the area such as Sissinghurst.

Great holiday accommodation, well maintained and kept clean, however a few cobwebs are expected in such a rural location bed could have been bigger , but that is our preference and I suspect that most people would be more than happy with the bed provided. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return

A beautiful, cosy cottage, with amazing views across countryside. Very peaceful. The standard and comfort of the furnishings was excellent. Not much cupboard space for food, but as there were only 2 of us and we had main meals out, it wasn't too much of a problem. Overall, we had a lovely stay, and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

Our second stay at Churchlands, this time in the Old Cowshed minus our dog, last time in Glebe Cottage with our dog. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, the French oak beams are beautiful and give the interior a period feel, while having modern comforts such as underfloor heating and a hot tub outside. The location is idyllic, very peacefuRead morel, with far reaching views of Romney Marsh and over to the Kent Downs. There is a lovely pub - The Ferry Inn - about a kilometre from the property which is great for dinner, or enjoying the golden hour with a drink. I'd recommend Churchlands as a well located base to explore West Kent and East Sussex, or just somewhere to relax. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future. Hide
