The North Cornwall retreat is a playground for families who enjoy salty sea air, adventurous trails and sand between their toes. Boasting one of the most spectacular vantage points, this Port Isaac cottage is a stylish base from which to soak up picturesque views or sip tipples whilst bubbling away in the hot tub. If you can tear yourself away from this impressive getaway, then the charming village of Port Isaac awaits. Browse the shops, grab a bite to eat or explore the filming destinations that made Doc Martin so incredibly famous. Further along the coast, the lesser-known Port Gaverne makes a delightful beach day, while the surrounding area has several other sandy beaches to choose from, including Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay, all within 9 miles. Keen ramblers can hop aboard the South West Coast Path and see memorable craggy sights, while foodies must visit the bustling harbour town of Padstow (16 miles).

Marvel at truly special views across the captivating village of Port Isaac as you approach your alluring getaway. Step inside and see a stylish sun terrace that spans two levels and is decorated in sumptuous, rich colour schemes. Take a moment to relax in the two lounges, where glass bi-folding doors bring the outside in. The plush corner sofa provides a stylish setting for unwinding with a glass of wine, while two wood burners bring warmth on chilly evenings. Chat over the day's plans while whipping up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, before perching at the breakfast bar or gathering around the chunky wooden dining table. Grab private moments on the soft leather seating, perhaps with a book or magazine, before calling it a night and heading off to bed. Five beautifully styled bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep, with two tucked away on the ground floor and three more upstairs. On the ground floor, you’ll find a super-king-size room with sea views and its own en-suite shower room, plus a cheerful double with doors opening straight onto the sun terrace. Upstairs, three calming king-size rooms offer space to unwind; one features a luxurious en-suite complete with a free-standing bath, shower, and WC, while another boasts its own en-suite shower room. One can be made up as a twin on request. Every bedroom comes with a Smart TV, which will be a welcome addition to breakfast in bed. Finishing off the home is another shower room and a utility room with a shower, sink and WC.

The wow-factor continues outside with a steamy hot tub that perches above the waves on the wraparound sun terrace. Lounge on the daybed or corner sofa before enjoying a BBQ and al fresco dining on the seating for 12. A large lawn, bordered by colourful flowers, creates a brilliant space for kids to play. An amazing location with a view to die for if you get lovely weather it's amazing with fantastic sunsets

The Terrace has always been amazing, but the new extension transforms the property. The new spaces are incredible and the expanded view is fantastic. The hot tub is a welcome addition. All the new furniture is very well considered.
