Get the whole gang together at this exquisite holiday home sitting on a farm on the banks of the Camel Estuary, just 2 miles outside the chic little village of Rock. Sleeping ten people across four bedrooms, this sleek and stylish retreat is the perfect base for large families or groups of friends looking for a Cornish countryside getaway. Relax and reconnect with your loved ones during a stroll along the golden sands of Rock Beach (2 miles). Or set off for a walk to Porthilly Cove (1 mile), a peaceful spot that has pretty views across to Padstow. While you’re there, check out the Jethro Jackson art gallery and then stop off in a restaurant to sample some famous Porthilly oysters. Jump on the ferry to the charming harbour town of Padstow (2 miles by boat) to stroll along the marina, browse the boutiques and visit Prideaux Place.

Park in the private parking area (there’s room for up to three cars) and head towards your elegant stone country cottage. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a grand entrance hall leading to an incredibly stylish open-plan kitchen/dining area. The heart of the home, this is a bright and sociable space where sleek black-and-white finishes blend seamlessly with the breathtaking country views through the patio doors. On this floor, you’ll also find a chic zip-and-link twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, as well as a cosy snug for those who are yearning for a little time to themselves. Complete with a double sofa bed and TV, the snug is the perfect spot for a lazy movie night or a little quiet reading. There’s also a handy wet room with a shower on this floor. Head upstairs and you’ll find a gorgeous lounge with beautiful high ceilings, an elegant wood burner and doors that open out to the balcony. You’ll also discover three stylish bedrooms – one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and two handy twins. A stylish family bathroom with a shower and a beautiful free-standing bath completes the chic layout.

Open the door from the kitchen area and you’ll discover a charming garden with a large patio that offers superb estuary views – at low tide, you can see three shipwrecks in the cove. Rinse off sandy feet in the heated outdoor shower, fire up the charcoal BBQ and cook up an impressive al fresco feast, or snuggle up by the fire pit. In the morning, kick off your day with a game of tennis on the shared tennis court, followed by a gentle stroll through the estate’s woodlands.

I can confirm it was a most enjoyable week for my friends and I. I've spent many holidays at Cant Farm over the past 20 years and have always enjoyed it. The Woodshed was so so clean, the kitchen was well fitted out and the spaciousness made our stay very comfortable. I will most definitely return.
