An exquisitely finished, historic retreat, this stone farmhouse is a sumptuous, sizeable holiday hideaway. Set in 0.5 acres of scenic grounds, in picturesque Cornish countryside, less than 1 mile from Saint Minver, the five-bedroom property sleeps ten guests, making it an ideal base for larger groups keen to stay somewhere special as they make memories together. Grab your swimming costumes and towels and head to the shimmering sands of Rock Beach, 3.5 miles away. Polzeath, with its excellent surf, is 4 miles from the farmhouse. Take the ferry from Rock across to Padstow to dine out in a stylish seafood restaurant or head into Wadebridge, 4 miles away, to stock up on local produce. Hire bicycles in Wadebridge and pedal out along the largely traffic-free, 18-mile Camel Trail. Venture 10.5 miles to explore the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor or 3 miles to connect with the South West Coast Path.

Take a step up to enter the farmhouse via the front door and hall. Wander on through the house, admiring its exceptional character and sumptuous style. Choose between the welcoming lounge and cosy snug when it comes to gathering with your friends or relatives to chat, unwind or watch a good film on the Smart TV together. Light the wood burner in the lounge and relax together as the flames crackle. Amble through to the kitchen/diner, with its beautiful, beamed ceiling, pretty cabinets and wooden work surfaces, to rustle up a hearty meal. Pause for coffee at the breakfast bar as it cooks, then sit together in the elegant dining room. There is a step down from the kitchen and hall to both the dining room and rear entrance hall, which doubles as a utility space. A family shower room is situated downstairs, making it ideal for rinsing off after trips to the beach. Your generous family bathroom is on the first floor, together with all the bedrooms. Wake up to country views in these beautifully decorated rooms. They include two king-sizes, both with en-suite shower rooms and one with a walk-in wardrobe. There is also a bunk bedroom for the youngsters in your party. The final bedrooms are both twins, one with zip-and-link beds that can also be set up as a super-king-size if discussed at booking.

The large garden is very much the jewel in the crown of this outstanding holiday haven. Play family games on the lawn, cook out on the BBQ and bask beside the fire pit under the stars on clear nights. Unwind in the hot tub and enjoy hot outdoor showers after swimming or surfing. Take an evening stroll along the shared woodland walkway. There is ample private parking here.

We had a beautiful February half term stay at Treglyn Farmhouse! We are extremely fussy about properties, and the farmhouse lift up to those high expectations. So much space, high quality finishes and furniture and very close to the main road into Rock.

A very relaxing stay in this beautiful farmhouse - still with an 'old' feel but immaculately updated and so comfortable - thank you, we loved it!

We chose this property as it looked great, in a good location and accepted dogs. The house is gorgeous! Wonderful interiors, very comfortable, very well-equipped and beautiful gardens! The ultimate addition is the warm shower at the front of the property!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The interiors are fantastic and the hot tub is a great way to end long days at the beach. Perfect location for bodyboarding at Polzeath followed by suppers at The Cracking Crab. Wonderful holiday - we can't wait to come back again.

What a beautiful house in a gorgeous part of the world. Everything about this farmhouse is perfect - it is cosy and stylish, ideal for family breaks and fun times with friends. We loved being five minutes from everything the area has to offer. The hot tub is a brilliant addition! Can't wait for next time.

A lovely week in this idyllic farmhouse. You have done such a fabulous job with the renovations. As an artist, I delight in the choice of colours and textures throughout! The weather has not been kind but this has been a perfect retreat with all the home comforts.
