This elegant and indulgent escape is located at the top of Rock Road, providing easy access to Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Rock Beach and Porthilly via footpaths or in the car – none is further than 2 miles or so. Spend days swimming, surfing, sunbathing or sailing, or hike along the South West Coast Path for incredible views and wildlife spotting. The nearest golf course is just 1 mile away, and the local pub – which serves excellent food – is less than 100 meters. In 2.5 miles you can reach Padstow for harbour views, boutique shops and great seafood restaurants, while the fishing village of Port Isaac, 5 miles, offers more high-quality dining as well as interesting boutiques and galleries, and a chance to spot the filming locations of Doc Martin and Fisherman’s Friends. In Wadebridge, 5 miles, you can hire bikes and cycle the beautiful Camel Trail.

Soaring ceilings, expanses of glass and a tranquil colour palette give this dreamy getaway an atmosphere of calm and luxury. Clad in dark larch, it’s all at ground level and includes versatile areas for relaxation, inside and out. The airy lounge and the cosy snug both feature a wood burner and a Smart TV, with plenty of comfortable seating in which to snuggle, whether you’re indulging in a quiet moment with a book or a family movie. The kitchen/diner is a serene, spacious and light-filled room with a long dining table providing the perfect setting for shared meals or board games, plus a breakfast bar for coffee and snacks. A large boot room ticks all the boxes for practicality, with laundry facilities and plenty of space for storing outerwear. Soft colours and natural textures create an inviting atmosphere in all five bedrooms. Two of the four king-size rooms have modern four-poster beds, and all include ample storage and an en-suite rainfall shower room. The remaining bedroom is a versatile twin which can also be made up as a super-king-size on request, and has use of the stylish family bathroom.

Expansive and safely enclosed grounds extend the interior living space outdoors, opening from the snug, kitchen and master bedroom. A furnished patio running the length of the house has furniture for both lounging and dining, while the outdoor kitchen (with a charcoal Egg BBQ) allows for al fresco entertaining. An enormous lawn provides space for children and dogs to play safely, and a dedicated outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a day on the beach. Adding to the sense of luxury is an outdoor sauna, while the practical touch of a wetsuit hanging rail adds to the convenience after a day in the surf. Private parking for three cars is available directly outside, with a gentle slope to the property which is suitable for wheelchairs.

Perfect stay to make memories. Located at the top of rock road, a few minutes drive to the beach or a steady 20-30 minute walk to, or longer if you stop off at Fees for brunch! Lovely decor inside, clean and well equipped. Beds very comfortable and a lovely garden with sauna. Cant wait to return!

Amazing property. Location excellent as close to bakery, butchers, convenience store, chippy and pub so not necessary to go further afield if you dont want to. Garden was great - safe for children and dog to be left to play. Comfy inside with great furnishings and lovely kitchen/dining area. Down side of kitchen/diner was the acoustics.
