A hidden gem, enjoying a magnificent position in Lundy Bay, this single-storey retreat is a truly special find. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom holiday home luxuriates in uninterrupted views out towards Trevan Point from its setting on the North Cornwall coast. Step out to explore the spectacular National Trust land around you. Pick up the South West Coast Path and walk 2.5 miles to dramatic Pentire Point. Amble 0.5 miles down to Lundy Bay to fish in rockpools and paddle in the sea. Polzeath Beach, with its superb swimming and surfing, is less than 2 miles away. Head to Rock, with its beautiful beach, to catch the ferry over to popular Padstow. Plan a day out to Tintagel, 11.5 miles away. Here you can explore the castle that features in the tales of King Arthur. Make your way 6.5 miles to Wadebridge to follow a section of the Camel Trail.

Follow the ramp up to find inviting, single-storey accommodation that could be ideal for guests with accessibility needs. Enter to find yourselves in a spacious reception hall leading to all the sleeping and living accommodation. Step through the double doors into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner space with incredible views across the garden to the open ocean. Open the double doors to allow the salty sea air in or step out onto the grass to enjoy the freshest Cornish air. Prepare a delicious family meal at the kitchen and bring everyone together to dine inside or out. Head over to the soft seating and watch TV, listen to music or simply chat and admire the views. Back in the hall there is a handy utility and WC. Following the hall round the corner, you’ll find the four bedrooms and two family bathrooms. Here you have one super-king-size bedroom, which has zip-and-link beds that can be made into a twin on request, and three twins. One of these also has zip-and-link beds. These can be arranged as a super-king-size by prior agreement. The super-king-size bedroom has a door into a Jack and Jill shower room that can also be accessed from the hall. The family bathroom offers both a shower and a bath.

Spill out into the garden to play games on the lawn with the younger members of your party. Challenge them to table tennis in the garage, too. Cook out on the BBQ and dine under the stars on clear summer nights. There is ample parking here.

Had a great stay here. Absolutely loved waking up to the view of the sea and watching sunset, couldn't beat it. Stones throw from Polzeath and lovely Padstow.

Troy is spacious, comfortable, light, airy and warm. There are wonderful views out to sea from the wall of windows in the huge living room. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in Troy twice. In the winter it was so warm and cosy (even when the weather was cold and windy outside) and in the summer we opened both sets of doors from the kitchen onto the garden and the amazing view of the sea.

Troy is the perfect place to relax, explore the local beaches and go on long coastal walks. The house itself was lovely, clean and catered to all of our needs. We would love to return to Troy!
