Visit pretty Rock, 2.5 miles away, to board the ferry over the Camel Estuary to Padstow, with its cobbled streets, seafood restaurants and charming shops. In Padstow, hire bicycles and pedal out along the picturesque Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Explore the pretty coves and beaches on this side of the estuary, too. These include Trevone Bay, 16 miles from your base, and Harlyn Bay, 18 miles away.
Enter at ground-floor level to find immaculate accommodation. From the hall, discover a utility room to the left, a family shower room with a WC, and two of your bedrooms. One of these is a family room, with super-king-size with zip-and-link beds that can also be made up as twin by prior agreement and a set of small bunk beds for children. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner fills the entire first floor of the house. Filled with natural light, this gorgeous space has glass doors at one end that give onto the balcony and a spectacular view. The centre-piece of the room is a striking white wood burner, which brings a cosy glow to the space during the colder months. The light kitchen has been fitted out with everything you are likely to need to cater for your party during your stay. There is a breakfast bar here and a table to gather around for lively holiday meals. Carry your coffee out onto the balcony on warm days. Wander on up the stairs to the top floor of the property, where your three remaining bedrooms are located. These include a superb super-king-size, with a generous en-suite shower room, and a Juliet balcony with views out towards the sea. There is also a double bedroom and a king-size bed, with an en-suite shower room.
