Spend days on the sands or in the water at Baby Bay beach – less than 100 metres away – or head to Polzeath Beach, around 250 metres, for a surf lesson or to explore the rock pools. Follow the South West Coast Path for scenic hikes, with breathtaking vistas from Pentire Point, 1 mile away. Venture to exclusive Rock, 3 miles, to chill on the beach, play golf, go sailing and explore the local eateries; from here you can also take the ferry to Padstow, with its renowned seafood restaurants. Head to Port Isaac, 7 miles, and wander the charming narrow streets and explore its picturesque harbour, interesting shops and more excellent places to eat.

Stroll through the garden and up the steps to the front door of this irresistible getaway to find a spacious, light-filled interior in which contemporary comfort blends with relaxed coastal style. The kitchen/family room is an open-plan space designed for effortless holiday cooking and sociable relaxing; there’s also a cosy seating area here with Sky TV. Designed for fresh-air relaxation, the secure garden provides a safe haven for children and dogs to play, and a heated outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach. Beautiful house with plenty of space and very well equipped. We have stayed in Hillcote many times now and always enjoy it. The location is absolutely perfect!

Another fabulous girlie week at this lovely home. Everything is still as we remember from last time - very warm and comfortable and welcoming. This house is a perfect location for beach walking and visiting lots of lovely places on the North Cornwall coast and further. Thank you.

The house is stunning, very well appointed, comfortable and well equipped. The location is very peaceful and the proximity to Polzeath and Baby beaches ideal. Id highly recommend Hillcote as an ideal base for beach time and for exploring the local area. We will definitely be back and booking through Latitude50.

We loved the space in the main kitchen and living area downstairs. We were with small children and having that space was great.
