Brimming with character, this 300-year-old Port Isaac cottage has been lovingly renovated into a modern retreat, blending original design features with home comforts and subtle nautical touches. Set on the charming Dolphin Street, the cottage is surrounded by tea rooms, cosy pubs and two highly regarded eateries, all within walking distance. Port Isaac is famously home to the Fisherman’s Friends sea shanty group, and each spring the village bursts into life with the annual Sea Shanty Festival - a must if your holiday coincides. Just a few metres from your door, the South West Coast Path invites you to explore North Cornwall’s breathtaking coastline and golden beaches. Head 5 miles along the path to Polzeath, a lively surfing village with a golden beach, seafront saunas, and surf schools offering lessons and equipment hire - the perfect spot to while away a sunny afternoon.

The cottage itself is a delight inside and out, showcasing its heritage with Cornish stone on the façade and exposed on select feature walls throughout its three-storey layout. Step through the garden gate and up the stone steps, feeling instantly at home the moment you cross the threshold. The ground floor is thoughtfully arranged into a galley kitchen, dining room and lounge, creating space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The kitchen comes well equipped with quality fixtures, perfect for whipping up locally sourced produce, while the dining room next door sets the scene for shared meals. Across the way, the lounge is light-filled and inviting, with a Smart TV, a cosy wood burner and ample seating. A handy WC completes this level. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms and a stylish family bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. Two bedrooms offer king-size beds, while the third is a lovely twin. On the top floor, discover two further bedrooms - one a twin, the other a versatile zip-and-link twin - both served by two additional bathrooms.

At the rear of the house, a paved patio bordered by colourful flowerbeds provides a peaceful space to relax with a drink in hand. Enclosed and secure for children and pets, the garden also features a dining table for eight and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco feasts. Private parking for one car is included.
