This beautiful coastal home is set in a sought-after location in Daymer Bay, on the North Cornwall coast. Sleeping 12 guests across six stylish bedrooms, this property is ideal for families and friends looking to embrace beachside living. Daymer Bay is a sheltered, sandy beach with shallow waters that are ideal for bathing. At low tide, you can walk along the shoreline to the neighbouring resort of Rock (2 miles), which has a water sports centre as well as a great range of independent eateries. There is also a ferry from Rock to the historic harbour town of Padstow. For keen golfers, the highly regarded St Enodoc links golf course is on your doorstep, and surfers will be in their element at nearby Polzeath (1 mile). Days out from the property include the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac (6.5 miles) and the vibrant surf town of Newquay (15 miles).

The property is located on a private, no-through road and is decorated in a contemporary style, with crisp, clean decor, sleek furniture, and statement light fittings, accessories, and artwork. On the ground floor, you’ll have a choice of three living areas in which to unwind. Curl up with a book on the corner sofa alongside the kitchen, gather for a movie night around the Smart TV in the cosy TV room, or share stories with friends after dinner in the glow of the open fire in the main lounge. This room is equally impressive in the daytime, with its magnificent glass ceiling and full-height windows. The social hub of the house is the chic, monochrome kitchen/diner, where you’ll find everything needed to rustle up feasts for the group. Enjoy hearty breakfasts around the central island, or gather at the formal dining table for dinner parties and family celebrations. Also on the ground floor is an office space for those needing to catch up on emails whilst away, as well as a family bathroom and a handy utility room. Two of the bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, and a bunk bedroom – are located on the ground floor, with the remaining bedrooms upstairs. On the first floor, the master bedroom has an emperor bed, along with a seating area, separate dressing room, and private balcony. This room has an en-suite shower room and steps leading to a mezzanine floor with a free-standing bath. Also on this floor, you’ll find three twin bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, plus a stylish shower room.

Outside, you’ll have a choice of areas for al fresco dining, including a front patio with outdoor furniture and a further seating area to the rear of the property. On a summer’s day, stretch out on the sun loungers whilst the children play on the enclosed lawn, or fire up the BBQ and cook some delicious seafood for your lunch. There’s a heated outdoor shower – ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach – and also a hanging area for wetsuits, and an outdoor tap. Private parking is available for four cars.

We absolutely loved our stay in Church Lane House - it's got everything you could possibly need and the location, right next to Daymer Bay, is amazing.

Holidays with four little ones around are always fun, but rarely relaxing. This was possibly our favourite thing about this particular holiday. Wonderful house in an excellent location. It was great being so close to the beach and the sun shone for us nearly every day. The house is so well-equipped, it has everything. We enjoyed all the space and light from all the windows. We hope to return one day.
